Public Meeting Planned for Art in the Loop Vision Plan

ATT69267 1

The Art in the Loop Foundation is partnering with the Kansas City Design Center (KCDC) and the Downtown Council to develop a vision and master plan for working with artists to activate public spaces in Downtown Kansas City.  KCDC architecture, landscape architecture, and urban planning students are considering how public art (temporary or permanent) can play a role in making the Downtown Loop (Central Business District) more walkable, authentic, safe and connected. The studio is working under the guidance of director, Vladimir Krstic, professor Jason Brody, and the Art in the Loop Advisory Committee.

Please join us for a public meeting on Thursday, March 24 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Kansas City Design Center, 1018 Baltimore, to learn more about the Art in the Loop Vision Study and the Downtown Recycling System Vision Study and give your input.

Contact Ann Holliday, ann@downtownkc.org, with questions about Art in the Loop or Sarah Kraly, sarahkraly@kcdesigncenter.org, with questions about the Kansas City Design Center.
