Art in the Loop Summer Intern Position Open

The Art in the Loop Foundation (AILF) is seeking is seeking a creative and committed intern to assist with communications and summer arts program in coordination with our partner organizations the Downtown Council (DTC) and the Downtown Community Improvement District (DCID).

The primary responsibilities are to engage with the Downtown Kansas City community, including residents, employees and visitors and the Art in the Loop projects and artists. You will work with the artists and staff to develop content for www.artintheloop.com and related social media. You will have the opportunity to gain resume-worthy experience in areas such as social media planning and creative writing. You will also photo-document the art installations and performances and upload key images to the www.artintheloop.com. The intern needs to be able to resize/post/upload documentation to the DTC/DCID/AILF photo database, Facebook, and Twitter accounts.

A stipend will be provided at the completion of the internship. We will work to create a valuable experience for the intern that includes mentorship and the development of skills and knowledge that will benefit you in the future.
