Liven up your lunch hour with a performance by Eddie Moore & The Outer Circle at City Market Park

Join us at lunchtime on Wednesday, June 14th for a dynamic musical performance by Eddie Moore & The Outer Circle.

The performance will take place from 11:30 – 1:30 at  City Market Park, 3rd & Main St.

The Outer Circle fuses modern influences with those of tradition. Saturated with color, the melodies and lyrics share life experiences with the listener.  Moore’s forward-thinking sounds are part of the rich continuum of African-American music that continues to be imbued with indigenous African elements. The Outer Circle’s remarkable sensitivity and cohesive interplay reflect an unflinching groove.  Moore also includes elements of soul, r&b, and hip-hop into his take on contemporary jazz. Diversity and inclusiveness have become to define Moore’s work.  His expansive sensibilities have allowed him to perform and record with many distinctive artists.

This performance is free and open to the public, and is part of the 2017 Art in the Loop Project:  Cue! The project is made possible through the generous support of KC Streetcar; the City of Kansas City, Missouri; the Missouri Arts Council; Arts KC and our corporate sponsors including Stinson Leonard Street, Henderson Engineers, JE Dunn Construction, McCownGordon Construction, Port KC and UMB Financial Corporation.
