The Wires will perform at the KC Streetcar River Market West Stop near 4th & Delaware from 11 a.m. to 1:00 pm on Thursday, September 23, as part of the 2021 Art in the Loop/KC Streetcar Performance Series.

The Wires duo (Laurel Parks-violin & Sascha Groschang-cello) have been composing dramatic and cinematic string music inspired by imagery in the natural world since 2009. They are the hosts of Sound Currents on 91.9 Classical KC, a program that explores music by living composers. In addition to performing and composing their album “Winter” is set to be published as a collection of sheet music by Mel Bay Publishing in the Fall of 2021.
