Project Description

A young girl blows into a dandelion stem, sending seeds into the air, each one is a wandering dream, hope, or memory. They drift until they find new ground, a place to land, to be cared for and to grow. Home isn’t always where you start… Sometimes it’s where your dreams finally take root.

This artwork was inspired from childhood memories of picking through clovers and making wishes on dandelion stems. It reflects on the idea that home, like our dreams, is not fixed. It shifts, evolves, and sometimes leads us somewhere unexpected. Not every dream takes root in the way we imagine; some drift, carried to unlikely places where they quietly begin to grow. I am not a Missouri native, nor did I set out to become a muralist or window artist. This path found me, but I believe that dream was planted long ago, quietly waiting for me to be ready.
