Connection to the theme Home

I come from a family of Luchadores who have been part of the tradition since the late 1960s. While I do not wrestle myself, I wear the mask every time I perform as a way of honoring and carrying forward my family’s legacy.

Lucha Libre is my childhood and my home. It lives in the smells, the sounds of backyard wrestling shows, the loud distorted music, and the vibrant diverse culture of San Antonio. These experiences shaped who I am creatively and continue to influence how I approach my work here in Kansas City.

My goal is to bring that world into my performance. Through music and storytelling, I create an experience that invites listeners to engage not only with the sound, but with the history, emotion, and culture behind it. Giving people insight on Lucha History, as well as my own.
