Join us at lunchtime on Wednesday, July 5th for an engaging performance by Carswell & Hope.

The performance will take place from 11:30 – 1:30 on-board the KC Streetcar, starting from the Union Station streetcar stop.

Carswell & Hope is the music of Nick Carswell, an Irishman now living in Lawrence, KS. Influenced by the songwriting of John Lennon, Neil Young and Tom Waits, Carswell & Hope combines rock and electronic elements with deft songwriting and inventive lyricism. The music inhabits a place where the familiar gives rise to the new; where the unexpected dances among the routine; where depth and meaning are hidden in plain sight.  The musicians will board the first streetcar to leave Union Station just after 11:30 a.m.  Please join us from there, or from any stop along the streetcar route.

This performance is free and open to the public, and is part of the 2017 Art in the Loop Project:  Cue! The project is made possible through the generous support of KC Streetcar; the City of Kansas City, Missouri; the Missouri Arts Council; Arts KC and our corporate sponsors including Stinson Leonard Street, Henderson Engineers, JE Dunn Construction, McCownGordon Construction, Port KC and UMB Financial Corporation.
