Schedule of Information Sessions

Attend an information session to learn more about the sites for artwork, media, performance locations, other opportunities and requirements of the 13th Annual Art in the Loop Project: Home. The call for visual and performing artists is now available. Through a competitive, open-call process, the Art in the Loop Foundation selects local artists to exhibit their artwork, create site-specific artwork, or perform along and near the KC Streetcar route and at other sites in Downtown Kansas City from May – October.

Visual artists working in two or three dimensions, as well as social practice, film and animation are encouraged to apply. Performing artists working in music, dance, song or poetry, as well as social practice, are encouraged to apply.

  • Virtual: Wednesday, February 4, 2026, 6-7 p.m., RSVP
  • InterUrban ArtHouse: Thursday, Feb 5, 6:30-7:30, RSVP
  • Kansas City Artists Coalition: Saturda,y February 7, 202,6 11 a.m. – 12 p.m., RSVP
  • Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art: Wednesday, February 11, 10:30-11:30 a.m., RSVP

Stipends will range from $750-$2,500 depending on the category. The deadline for submissions is February 16, 2026 at 11:59 pm CST. Applications must be made online via the application portal. Access the full call for artists and application at https://www.artintheloop.com.
