Modern life is incredibly stressful and chaotic, and everyone has their own struggles and responsibilities that they must contend with while trying to keep up with the world around them. I want to encourage people to make the time for the activities that they might consider frivolous in the face of our rise-and-grind culture. Rarely do we get to simply let ourselves exist as we please without feeling the pressure to monetize or make the most of our free time. Whether you enjoy reading, bicycling, painting, dancing, or stargazing, finding joy in our hobbies and pursuing our passions are the things that fill us with a sense of wonder in this life. My hope is that Interplanetary Joyride will inspire Kansas Citians to engage in activities that enrich their lives and strengthen their spirits.
